Happy Thanksgiving to all the pond friends! :D
How simple it is to make a difference in the lives of others. To someone who's made a beautiful difference in my life.

striped bass

This year it was my turn, I love to cook and I nearly killed everyone with my love for garlic  and then we let the critters loose. This was my trial year. All the fish survived and I set them free. At last.. At last.

Hoping the best for all of you, you've really helped me out, Thank You :D

Yep, I love eating fish. A few years back I even ate Carp in Brazil. Not to mention eating huge rats.

Rat huh? Well that is intriguing. How does one go about cooking rat? Oh I do hope it was cooked.

I throw the bass back for the walleye but they are good too :D . I've had smoked and pressure cooked carp, both tasty.

This I awoke to the day before thanksgiving - I counted nearly 70 in the flock which made dressing the bird the next day kinda tough..

My wish is belated but I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The last of our turkey was turned into noodle soup on Sunday. mmmm good!

Those are 2 really cool photos Pam! Thanks for sharing.

Sorry koigardner, I don't like fish, never did. I don't like the smell of them either. LOL if some one told me I would be handling fish, doing surgery on them 20 years ago, I would have told them they are nuts! So when I am working with the fish, I am constantly washing my hands to get the smell off. Weird? you betcha!

I was stuck in traffic on the way to work a couple years back and was lucky to have my camera with me. The basketball in the photo should give you an idea of these birds size.
