Water Babies Breathe American Water Plantain Alisma subcordatum

Water Plantain is more commonly knows as Water Baby’s Breathe.

The small Baby's Breathe like flowers sit atop the oval foliage. The flowers are present in July and August.

This plant can be potted, or the rooted ends tucked into the rocks of a streambed or water fall.
