Frogbit Limnobium spp.

Tiny white flowers in July and August that are not very significant. Frogbit is a miniature floating plant with shiny green foliage that is 1 to 2 inches across. It is said to kind of look like the chin of a frog in the water, thus the name. Frogbit is a fast grower and works great if you need coverage in a short period of time.

Hardy zone 7 or higher

This plant is illegal in CA, VT, NH,  ME and WA and can not be shipped to those states!
